Earlier this morning Budstikka met 16 Polish tourists on Tangvall. They came with bicycles and were to eat breakfast in town centre.

The cyclists were all members of a tourist club from Warsaw. They arrived at Torp on Friday and were on their way to Stavanger. When the group are to arrive in Stavanger, the plan is to go through the mountains and country side until they reach Oslo. On their way westbound, they will cycle along the coast.

- We are going to cycle for three weeks. Our tourist club arranges a trip to a new country each summer, and this year it was Norway, says the leader of the group, Marek Dabrowski.

When they were asked the question if it was exhausting to cycle, many of the group members nodded in agreement. Three weeks on the bicycle seat is a long time. - The negative thing about cycling is that it is not always properly marked where to bike. On Volleberg, for instance, it was very hard to see where to cycle so that we did not come onto the motorway, says Dabrowski. He tells us that the cycling roads in Poland are as difficult to figure out, but that the roads need better signage also here in Norway.

- It is probably easy for locals to know where to go, but for us who speak only English and have never been here before, it becomes complicated fast, he says.

- It was a shame I didnt see them sooner, I would have brought them coffee, says a nice man from Tangvall while he was talking the the tourists.

Budstikka wishes the group a nice trip!
